2025 Prince Kuhio Parade & Ho’olaulea
On Saturday, March 29, 2025, members of Nā Lei Makalapua proudly participated for the first time in the annual Prince Kūhiō Parade held in Kapolei, Oʻahu. This cherished event honors the legacy of Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole, a Hawaiian aliʻi and statesman who dedicated his life to uplifting the Native Hawaiian people. The parade featured colorful floats, hula hālau, marching bands, and civic clubs from across Hawaiʻi and the continent, all gathered in celebration of Hawaiian heritage, unity, and pride. Below are photos from this year's festivities.
